As you know every credit card comes with “random” 16 numbers, your name and last name, date of expiration and CVV2 code. But you might not know that all these numbers are not random at all. We will show you how to crack those numbers:

Here we have a typical credit card with 16 digits:

Each one of them has a separate meaning and definition.

The first digit refers to Major Industry Identifier or MII and it designates the category of the card issuer:

In our cards case it means that the card has been issued by an organization related to banking & finances.

The first 6 digits are the Issuer Identification Number, which identifies the institution that issued a card.

In our case it is Visa card

The 7th and following digits except the final one are the persons account number. This leaves a trillion possible combinations if the maximum of 12 digits is used. Many cards only use 9 digits.

Our credit card holders account number is 56 0372 549

The final digit is the check digit or cheksum. It is used to validate the credit card numbers using the Luhn algorithm.

So we know that our credit card was issued by Banking or Financial Institution, the card should be a Visa card and that our account number is 56 0372 549.

But is our card valid or fake? Lets find out

How to crack credit card numbers and validate a credit card

In order to validate a credit card numbers you will need to double every other digit from the right. In our case we will double red digits:

4 2 7 5 3 1 5 6 0 3 7 2 5 4 9 3

As a result we will get:

8 14 6 10 0 14 10 18

Now we need to at those red numbers to undoubled ones but remember that All double digit number are added as a sum of their digits, so 15 becomes 1+5. Lets sum those numbers up:

8 + 2 + 1 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 1 + 1 + 0 + 6 + 0 + 3 + 1 + 4 + 2 + 1 + 0 + 4 + 1 + 8 + 3

= 61

If the final sum is divisible by 10 the credit card number is valid, if not than it’s fake.

61 is not divisible by 10, and our credit card unfortunately is fake 🙁

Kacrack is a spell in the Dragon Quest series. It pierces all enemies with ice damage. Kacrack was removed from the series' spell pool in Dragon Quest V, due to Kacrackle's target range being increased to effect all enemies. The spell would not return until Dragon Quest IX.

Learned by Mages & Sages at Level 32 in the original release due to a glitch. It costs 9 MP and hits all enemies for 60~80 points of damage. In the Super Famicom remake and its Game Boy Color port the glitch has been corrected and the spell is learned at Level 26.

Dragon Quest IV[edit]

Kacrack is learned by Borya at Level 27 and deals 60~80 damage for 8 MP.

Dragon Quest IX[edit]

Learned by Mage Level 40.Lacerates all enemies with a raw volley of rasping ice for 24 MP. Base damage is 80~104 until the caster's magical might overcomes 200, and the cap is 204~227 at 999.

Dragon Quest X[edit]

Kacrack is learned by Mages at level 51 for 21MP, with damage being calculated as Magical Might x 0.2844 + 34 with an maximum range of 230~242.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age[edit]

Rab and Veronica will learn kacrack at level 44. The spell costs 20 MP to casts and it's base range is 104~136 with the maximum range being 200~232.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker[edit]

Kacrack rips into all enemies with a hail of razor-sharp icicles for 12 MP. It can be learned from various skill trees.

Japanese musician Kenichi Maeyamada (前山田健一) has used the pseudonym 'ヒャダイン'(the Japanese name for kacrack), in addition to his real name. He chose that name because he found the uselessness of kacrack (in Dragon Quest III and IV) ironic and fun.^[1]
